ZAKLJUČAK SECW 2024
The Sarajevo Energy and Climate Week (SECW) is a carefully designed event aimed at bringing together key stakeholders in the energy and climate sectors, and presenting sustainable energy and climate policies primarily based on achieving EU goals, defined through research, studies, and the real needs of these areas. SECW offers concurrent sessions, providing numerous networking opportunities for collaboration with leading experts, including international organizations, agencies, the business community, scientists, global and regional companies, investors, academia, entrepreneurs, civil society, the media, and many others.
By participating in the Sarajevo Energy and Climate Week, you are not only catalyzing change but also shaping the future and investing efforts towards a sustainable future. This international event provides a unique platform for professionals, experts, investors, and decision-makers to actively engage in the forefront of global climate change discussions focused on sustainable energy.
In light of these facts, the previous two SECW conferences were organized under the high patronage of the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dr. Denis Bećirović, the Vice President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Igor Stojanović, the Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nermin Nikšić, and with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining, and Industry, the Federal Ministry of Environment and Tourism, other cantonal ministries and local government units, in cooperation with partners.
FOCUS
SECW is focused on a just transition of the energy sector, considering climate goals and their decarbonization.
MISSION
The mission of the SECW conference is to build a sustainable future through dialogue, collaboration, and innovative solutions, inspiring the development of a sustainable energy sector for the next 50 years.
GOAL
The goal of the SECW conference is to support the transition to a sustainable energy system in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Western Balkans region, raise awareness about the importance of sustainable energy and climate change, and connect participants from different sectors to exchange knowledge and innovative technologies.
