Mr. Marković Ognjen, a senior consultant with more than 40 years of experience in the energy sector, specializes in the development and implementation of restructuring of the energy sector, management and market reforms in the energy sector. In recent years, he has been working on the preparation of the National Energy and Climate Plan (NECP) for Bosnia and Herzegovina, the preparation of feasibility studies for the construction of solar power plants in the region, as well as the activities of establishing an organized market in Bosnia and Herzegovina. As director of the USAID projects "Energy Investment Activities (EIA)"  and  Regulatory Assistance Project in the Energy Sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), he worked on key reform policies in the energy sector, which includes assistance to ministries, regulatory commissions in BiH and companies in the energy sector to develop and implement rules and processes in order to fulfill the requirements of the establishment of the energy market and regional cooperation from the Treaty on the Energy Community.
