Heating sector decarbonization campaigner for the Western Balkan, CEE Bankwatch Network
Nataša Kovačević holds a master's degree in Environmental Protection and has been working on the decarbonization of the district heating sector in the Western Balkan countries since 2021, within the CEE Bankwatch Network. Over the past two decades, she has been involved in environmental, energy, and climate policies in Montenegro and the region. She is also the author and co-author of several research papers on financing clean district heating systems in the Western Balkans and a founder of the WB Clean Heat communities network, which aims to provide support to the Western Balkan towns in reducing emissions from the heating sector and accelerate investments.
