Monika Figaj  is a graduate of political science and holds a PhD in international development from Nagoya University. Her career is based on her knowledge of EU climate policies, including the EU ETS, and UNFCCC negotiations, as well as experience of working as a consultant in the field of environment in Montenegro.  Since 2014 she was a negotiator for Poland for the Ministry of Climate and Environment on climate files, including for the Fit for 55 package and a lead on mitigation for Poland’s UNFCCC COP Presidency in 2018.
