KUŠLJUGIĆ Mirza received B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. from Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Sarajevo. From 1979 he has been with the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Tuzla, where currently he is professor emeritus. From 2001 until 2005 he served as ambassador and the permanent representative of Bosnia and Herze- govina to the UN in New York. From 2006 until 2014 he served as a member of several parliaments in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Currently, he is president of the „ReSET Center for Sustainable Energy Transition”, a Sarajevo based think-tank. His main research interests are: - Modelling and analysis of electric power systems; - Technologies and integration of renewable energy resources; - Energy efficiency and energy management in industry; - Power systems planning and economics; - Management of sustainable energy transition. He is author of five scientific and educational books, over 50 scientific papers and more than 30 specializes technical studies and policy analyses.
