Ms. Kathrine Biering is Norway’s Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina. Ambassador Biering presented her credentials to the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Denis Becirovic, on 4 September 2024. Ambassador Biering joined the Norwegian foreign service in 1997 and has served at several postings abroad, including Norway’s Permanent Mission to NATO in Brussels and the Embassy in Copenhagen, Denmark. In MFA Headquarters, she has worked on OSCE affairs, Security Policy affairs, Nordic affairs and in the Cabinet of the Minister og Foreign Affairs. Prior to joining the MFA, Ambassador Biering was an OSCE Observer in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the aftermath of the Dayton Peace Agreement, from December 1995 to February 1997.
