Branko Debeljak

Branko Debeljak, M.Sc., is the new Director General of Šoštanj Thermal Power Plant (TEŠ) with a four-year term of office. Mr Debeljak holds a university degree in mechanical engineering and a master’s degree in management and organisation. He is one of the leading Slovenian experts in the field of thermoenergetics, in which he has worked throughout his career. He has been employed in leading positions at TEŠ for more than twenty years. Since 2016, he has been the executive director of the technical sector, responsible for its operational work, planning and the coordination of electricity production from Šoštanj Thermal Power Plant, as well as the development and maintenance activities of TEŠ.
