Bernardas Padegimas is the Senior Project Manager and Team Lead of the Environmental Policy and Strategy (EPS) Team at the Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI) Headquarters. In this role, he spearheads strategic initiatives and oversees the implementation of key projects, including the BiH Sustainable Transition Programme and the Green Agenda for Georgia, Ukraine, Moldova, and Armenia. Bernardas also ensures the well-being and cohesion of his 12-member team while driving its strategic direction. With a robust background in environmental policy, climate action, and transboundary water resource management, Bernardas has held pivotal roles at SEI, the World Water Council, the OSPAR Commission, and UNEP/GRID-Arendal. He holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Impact Assessment and Management from the University of Manchester, UK, and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from the University of Vilnius, Lithuania.
