The goal of the Sarajevo Energy and Climate Week (SECW) is to support the transition to a sustainable energy system in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Western Balkans region, raise awareness about the importance of sustainable energy and climate change, and connect participants from different sectors to exchange knowledge and innovative technologies.
The Energy Regulatory Commission of FBiH (FERK) has recognized the significance of this international event and actively participated in the 2nd Sarajevo Energy and Climate Week.
Experts from FERK participated in the third and fourth days of 2nd SECW, engaging in panels titled “Connection and Integration of Renewable Energy Sources into the Power System” and “Construction and Challenges of Connecting Solar Power Plants to the Power Grid/Management and Balancing”. Together with their panelists, they discussed the challenges and opportunities presented by the growing use of renewable energy sources and their integration into the existing energy infrastructure.
In appreciation, the SECW representatives visited the Energy Regulatory Commission of FBiH, where they presented a certificate of appreciation for their support and active participation during the 2nd SECW conference.
