Dr. Janez Kopač has been active in the region for the last eleven years. He was a Director of the Energy Community Secretariat for three mandates which under his leadership transformed into a real energy and climate community. Currently, a consultant in the EU4Energy project assisting authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Before that, he was a Director of the Directorate for Energy in the Ministry of Economy in Slovenia for four years, Minister of Energy and Environment of the Republic of Slovenia for four years, Minister of Finance and Head of the Budget Committee in the Slovenian Parliament for four consecutive mandates.
