Dr. Irem Silajdžić, environmental protection consultant from the consulting company ENOVA from Sarajevo. He has 25 years of work experience in the environmental sector, especially in the field of waste management, both from the aspect of strategic planning and from the aspect of concrete actions in industry and the service sector. Some of the projects she worked on were the development of state and entity strategies for environmental protection ESAP 2030+ for the area of waste management, projects to introduce resource efficiency and cleaner production in industrial enterprises in BiH, research and strategic studies to reduce plastic waste and food waste, as well as on strategic projects for the development of green cities. She was also hired as a consultant for waste management on World Bank projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
