Society for e-mobility of Slovenia
Ignac Završnik has been a dedicated advocate for e-mobility since 2003, with a strong focus on sustainable transportation and energy independence. Since 2014, he has been testing electric vehicles in Slovenia and collaborating with key organizations such as the national grid operator, ELES d.o.o., and the Ministry of Environment, Climate, and Energy.Ignac, an accomplished author, has published numerous articles on e-mobility and has served as Chairman of the Slovenian e-Mobility Society since 2017. In this role, he actively leads the organization of e-mobility events, educational seminars, and public awareness programs through his work with the NGO.Ignac also co-authored a white paper on road transport decarbonization for local decision-makers in Slovenia and is an active member of the Global Electric Vehicle Association (GEVA). He co-authored a methodology for evaluating public electric vehicle charging stations in 2024, presenting it at both EVS37 in Seoul and the Nordic EV Summit in Oslo.
