Sibylle Strahl is the sector leader energy, transport and climate protection of GIZ for the Western Balkans. She has further been leading the GIZ energy portfolio in Bosnia and Herzegovina since 2017. Prior to this assignment she held leadership positions for GIZ in Nigeria and in private sector companies in the EU investing into sustainable energy infrastructure. She has 10 years of professional experience in energy infrastructure finance and 9 years of experience in energy and climate policy advisory to governments in Europe, Africa, and Latin America.
