Varvara Aleksić (LL.M) is an Associate Professional in the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), where her work is focused on the renewable energy transition of the South East Europe region countries. For more than nine years, she has been involved in the Western Balkans energy sector in various roles in government, international organizations, the CSO sector, consulting and academia. She has a degree in law and a master's degree in European Integration (both at the Faculty of Law University of Belgrade). She is a Ph.D. candidate at the Central European University in Vienna.
