The Embassy of the Czech Republic provided support for the organization of the five-day international event Sarajevo Energy and Climate Week, which will take place from September 25 to 29, 2023.
The event, organized by the Chamber of Commerce of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina under the patronage of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and with the technical support of nLogic Advisory, is aimed at just transition and decarbonization of the energy sector with the aim of achieving climate neutrality and establishing a circular economy.
“The Czech Republic long-term monitors and supports Bosnia and Herzegovina in its process of approaching the EU in all areas. Energy and climate issues must be resolved together with all partners, which is why the Czech Republic decided to support the SECW in Sarajevo. Energy as a key field of the economy in Bosnia and Herzegovina must follow current international trends, and the Czech Republic has the necessary expertise to offer Bosnia and Herzegovina. In the long term, Bosnia and Herzegovina is a priority of Czech development cooperation and the Czech government contributes financially and with the acquired knowledge of Czech companies in development projects. Czech companies and research institutions are ready to share their experiences in the field of climate change and participate in the necessary infrastructure and innovative projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina”, says Mr. Aleš Ottmár, Embassy of the Czech Republic.
