As the energy sector is the pillar of the development of every country's economy, Bosnia and
Herzegovina, which today is a regional leader thanks to its rich heritage and experience in the field of energy, continues to follow the trends in the energy sector, which means that difficult but correct decisions have to be made about the future of the energy sector, takinginto account the importance of climate change and the ultimate goal being to decarbonise the energy sector by 2050.
Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, has decided to achieve climate neutrality and has participated in international projects to develop and implement concrete steps in this direction.
Taking into account these facts, the Chamber of Commerce of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in cooperation with partners organizes in the period from 25.09.2023 -29.09.2023. in Sarajevo
SARAJEVO ENERGY AND CLIMATE WEEK (SECW)
An international event aimed at a just transition of the energy sector, taking into accountclimate objectives and decarbonisation of the energy sector.
During the five days of interactive high-level discussions, SECW will bring together over 1000 participants from all over the world, including high-level officials, ministers of energy, climate and environment, representatives of EU institutions, government representatives, academia, experts, investors, financiers, NGOs, media and other interested parties, and will present and discuss the activities and results of international aid projects of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the countries of the region.
